Body Work

Creating space for healing, alignment and remembrance
Supporting women through life's thresholds with skilled hands and ancient traditions

Traditional cultures have long understood the deep connection between the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.

When our energy is imbalanced, it often manifests as discomfort and dis-ease. By nurturing the physical body, we also support the spirit and the nervous system.

This harmony is especially important during women’s reproductive journeys, a time when women are deeply connected with their bodies and their babies.

All spaces are held in a trauma-reverent way, ensuring you feel safe and supported throughout your experience.

SER ARMONÍA,

MEANING “TO BE HARMONY”, IS AT THE HEART OF MY PRACTICE.

Ceremonial Bodywork

A woman with long brown hair and tattoos is giving a massage to a person lying on a bed. The person lying down is wrapped in a white shirt and has their eyes closed, appearing relaxed.

CLOSING OF THE BONES CEREMONY

Having learnt directly with traditional midwives from Mexico, Guatemala and Chile

I honour the wisdom holders of these sacred practices, through holding it to its true entirety. Birth is an opportunity for women to complete a cycle, it has the potential to release held trauma and stories.

When birth is interfered with the opportunity to close a cycle is disrupted, women are too often left untethered, lost and sadly traumatised from their births, pregnancy or neonatal loss experiences.

This ceremony when honoured and all elements completed, provides deep healing for your physical, spiritual and emotional bodies.

Each element—softening, warming, releasing, and grounding—plays an essential role in this four-part series.
Consistent of:
Intentionally crafted herbal steam bath, time to sweat, full body oil massage focusing on womb and abdominal alignment and traditional closing of the bones with rebozos.

Postpartum closing of the bones

This ceremony is appropriate for women who have experienced an early birth, loss of a child, or to honour any big life transitions.

There is no set time frame of when to receive. We believe once you have birthed, you are forever postpartum and deserving of love and nurturance.

Allow up to 4+ hours for our time together. $560.
Please note this ceremony requires 2 practitioners and Sarah will have an assistant during your session.

With over 13 years of experience working with women’s bodies

my training with traditional midwives in Latin America and my time living in India, I weave ancestral healing modalities into your support. Each session is a unique blend of techniques designed to meet your individual needs.

  • Pre-Conception Body Work Session

“I felt amazing today. When I woke up I noticed the I felt very light within my body. As opposed to the usual of late... achy, slow and heavy.
Another sensation I felt during your massage was a warm flowing feeling going down my lower abdomen. To the point where I thought it was a release of blood, but I checked after and there was nothing there. So it could have been another release like the sensation in my throat. Pretty amazing.
Thank you so much for yesterday. I loved it and think what you’re doing is amazing and so important” - Erin

  • Postpartum Bodywork & Birth Debriefing Session

“The night that I had the work (body work and birth debriefing) done (baby) had the BIGGEST release of the journey yet. Woah it was huge. I feel like when all that emotion and tension was released from my body it somehow triggered something in her that she needed to release. And then that was it (finished weaning)” - Rowie

  • Pregnancy Bodywork Session

"I saw Sarah at 41 weeks pregnant and wow did she make me feel sooo good!! After the bodywork I felt about 32 weeks pregnant because so much pressure was taken off my body which was a very welcome change. Sarah left no stone unturned and really listened to my concerns and what my body was needing. The amount of energy she puts into her bodywork is truly amazing!“ - Elyse

  • Pregnancy Bodywork

“I would 100% recommend every woman to experience a session with Sarah. The presence, connection and love she brings into the space are honestly out of this world. There is something incredibly special about the way she works. She brings together years of clinical midwifery experience with wisdom and practices from ancestral traditions, and somehow meets you exactly where you are and offers what you need in that moment.Every session I’ve had with Sarah has felt deeply nurturing, grounding and restorative. I always leave feeling renewed, energised and more connected to myself.Beyond her knowledge and experience, what makes Sarah so special is the way she holds space. You feel genuinely seen, cared for and safe in her presence. There is no rushing, no one-size-fits-all approach — just a deep level of listening, intuition and care. Her work is truly beautiful, and I feel incredibly grateful to have experienced it. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.” - Pau
